Anne Marie Borguss, affectionately known to many as “Oma”, lived well as a cancer patient for six years. She had such a zest for life, that even during the most difficult of trials she made the most of each day. To honor that spirit, her family at Dolphins Plus in Key Largo would like to offer others battling cancer a complimentary opportunity for fun; free from the stress of doctors, medications, and thoughts of illness.
We invite you as our guest to come get away and enjoy fun in the sun with our dolphins.
Our program is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with our dolphins for an exhilarating and unforgettable experience. Each individual will have a hands-on experience with the dolphins. While the dolphin encounters are typically in-water experiences, efforts will be made to accommodate special needs.
Oma found a positive attraction to being around the dolphins. She would sit for long periods of time just watching them. The dolphins, in turn, seemed to seek her out.
